    Sing together, pulse together

Music! (Said in a Bill Nye voice)

A recent study in Scientific American discusses how groups that sing together, pulse together.

As a self-professed lover of music that has soul and danceable beats, this news placates my hard-working brain.

What the study said is that when people sing together in a choir, they synchronize their breathing, and as a result, synchronize their heart variability.

I wonder if there is more or less synchronicity when dancing as compared to singing?

I suggest you read the full article to really soak up the gist, but what I’m taking away from this is that if I want to bond with new people, science now says that I can do so by singing and dancing.

    Science!

    Using the Glider theme.
